Who we are not a fit for
- Businesses under about 10 seats. The overhead of a managed agreement does not pay for itself yet, and we will tell you that on the call rather than sell you one.
- Anyone shopping purely on price. Quotes below roughly $100 per user per month mean something has been left out of the stack, and we are not going to pretend otherwise by matching them.
- Businesses that want a provider to sign off on a security posture without changing it. If the gap report says MFA is missing, the answer is to fix it, not to word it more gently.
- Anyone who needs a vendor with twenty-five years of history behind them. That is a legitimate requirement and there are good GTA providers who meet it. We are not one of them yet.
Common questions
What does managed IT cost in Toronto?
The GTA market runs $120 to $160 per user per month for standard managed IT and $170 to $250 for a security-first tier. Our pricing is published rather than gated behind a form. Quotes below roughly $100 per user usually signal thin coverage somewhere in the stack.
You are a new firm. Why would we trust you with our whole environment?
Because tenure is not the same as accountability, and we compete on the second one. We carry $2M errors and omissions and $2M cyber liability, and the certificate is available on request. There is no long-term contract, so you can leave on thirty days' notice for any reason. The owner answers the phone, which is not true at a firm with two hundred staff. If you would rather buy twenty-five years of history, that is a legitimate choice and there are good providers in the GTA who can sell it to you.
Do we have to sign a three-year agreement?
No. Most providers in this market use three-year auto-renewing agreements. We use thirty days' notice, any time, for any reason. A client who stays because leaving is difficult is not a client worth having.
Can you work alongside the IT person we already have?
Yes, and for a lot of businesses that is the better answer. Co-managed IT means your internal person keeps the environment and the relationship, and we cover the hours and disciplines one person cannot hold: 24/7 monitoring, after-hours, patching, backup verification and deep escalation.
